Notes: I found me LUVtruck by accident and bought it as a runabout ute it soon turned into a project car because of it's simplicity. She has been stripped back to undego a colour change it's got the usual rust to be cut out and replace the old ali tray with a stunning red jarrah surface. I want to keep the original 4 on the tree to leave more space with the bench in the front, the cab is being reupolstered in loud orange and purple (want it to be loud to the ear and eye) which will match the fanta orange cab with pool ball purple chassis and engine. Topped off with white on orange LUVTRUCK number plates. Currently still sporting the izuzu 1800 engine that attracted me to it which will later find it's way into a gemini coupe making way in the engine bay for an alloy Chev V6 thats 12 months down the track.

LUV: 1972 Street/Strip
Name: Edgar Bell
Location: Lucaston, AUS
Forum Name: Edgarintassie
Notes: This truck is classed as a Isuzu KB20 or Chevy Luv in Australia even though only the chassis left is a Chevy Luv. It has a Datsun L18, A 240K 5 speed, Fibreglass 23 T body widened 5 inches, 95 Daihatsu Charade Rack and Pinion,L18 moved back 18inches, Handmade hardwood tray. It was put together for about $6500.00 and a couple of years of effort because I couldn't sell it as a complete truck so I decided to do this and keep it. A good decision I think. As an aside I took it to a G.M. Day in Sydney last year where they weren't going to let me in because it wasn't a G.M. I insisted it was and got in. The Luv was the only one there and to top it off I got my Picture in a write up on the show in a National magazine. Somebody thought it was alright, so do I.

LUV: 1974 Drag

Forum Name: 74DragLuv680
Notes: Hey all you Luv Truck Fans. This here is my Highly modified 1974 Chevy Luv. The truck started out as a junk stock truck from a random junk yard. The Luv has went through many changes over its life with me. The first modifications that took place was that nice little 4 cylinder had to go, along with all the interior (including dash, seats, steering wheel.) Next those rims and tires got trashed. Then the big modifications took place. The front clip has had everything removed, all the lights in the truck were either shaved or trashed, a 383 Chevy Small Block with Holley 830 carb was put in going to a 1.82 powerglide through an all aluminumn drive shaft to a Dana 60 rear end with 4.38 final gear. The bed has had everything cut out and is now just a large wheel tub except the final foot and a half which is where my Optima Dry Cell battery and Jazz Fuel cell are mounted. The fuel is fed through a Holley high flow pump. The truck is on 10.5 x 32 Micky Thompsons with 14inch centerline rims. On the front rides 15 x 3 1/2 Moroso DS-2 wheels. The ignition system is a full MSD 7AL-3 with no delay box, yet. I can't think of anything eles but if you want time slips or more pictures email me at Dragracr660@aol.com

Notes: My Luv i saved from the farm where it was being used.It was a one owner ute when i got it a few years ago.The ute is a local vehicle sold new in Stanthorpe which is about 3 hours inland from the coast so it has been away from salt air all its life so it is pretty good for rust.Starts first time and it has a standard 1600cc isuzu and 4 speed.

Notes: Hi, my name is Shane and I am from Tasmania, Australia. I own a 1976 KB20 CHEV LUV of which I have been driving every day till recently for the parst 5 or 6 years. it was ownd bye my Dad and used as a farm ute till he parked it in the shed and got a new Holden Rodeo (new chevyluv) a few years later when I was geting my drivers licens I restored it partly and thuse it became my first car. I have done well over 180,000k's in it and now it is time for a full restorasion. I am the 4th oner of this truck and am looking at ether a fiting a G180 or 200 twin cam 4 cylinder Isuzu engine or a V6 Isuzu engine. I like chev luv's as thay are a nice looking ute and can take a good lode in the back and ther are not meny on the road nowdays.
