Runs 7:15 1/8 mile 1.48 60 ft and 11:39 in 1/4 mile.

Notes: I bought my luv in june, and have done very little 4 wheeling action. I plan on lifting it and putting tires on. Just put in a new clutch, and brakes. It has a 1800 cc motor, 4 speed, 4x4, 2 10" subs, with 600 watt amp, 2 5 1/4" door speakers, and a cd player. Also, I removed the rear bumper and put on a piece of 4" channel with a trailer hitch (for the boat), and plan on building a tube front bumper/brush guard. |

Notes: I bought my LUV for $600 in Idaho for my outdoor adventure get away truck. I have add a canopy, bed, stove, storage, etc. and sanded down and primed over all the rust. I am looking for info. on diesel engines that can be dropped in with a minimum of work ( I believe Isuzu makes one) and would be interested in any info. on that. Someday I'd like to convert it to 4x4, but I'm told it would be easier to just buy one, but I'm pretty attached. |

Notes: 406 S.B. Chevy, Th350 trans w/3500 stall. Tubbed w/dodge 8 3/4 rearend (355 posi) on stock mono leafs w/ladders & floating housing mounts. Its been a V8 truck for 15 years, been tubbed for 8 years. Its still not done yet, but is licensed, driveable & street legal(?). Word to the wise-I recently spent over $500 for an UNLIMITED PRODUCTS fiberglass hood w/6 inch cowl. On the FIRST one they sent, the cowl was on 1" off center! It took 5 months to get another one and it was only 1/2" off center! Ive decided to cut my losses and keep it. Maybe some creative body work & flames will hide it. Oh yeah, the under structure separated from the skin when I installed it. HIGH QUALITY #$&*%! Thanks for letting me vent. |
