Notes: My 74 Chevy luv has a shaved tailgate with a molded in rollpan. I shaved my side marker lights in the front and in the back. One thing that is great is that I have the hope of putting a 56'-67' Chevrolet 283c.i. V-8 in it this summer. And bucket seats with a DVD/CD player with a custom fiberglass dash that will hold a 10 inch LCD monitor. |

Forum Name: RMS80luv
Notes: I got it from my grandma and she only used it to move plants and bark and garden stuff. Well now its in my hands it still has the stock motor with only 77652 miles on it. She bought it form the chevy dealer ship in 1980. Now i have worked verry hard to make it what it is now. Still more wrok is needed but i will make it a nice truck. I have put on a webber 2 barrel redline carb (nice). I had the local muffler shop make me some custom dual exaust. Now just not to long ago i lowered it about 4 inches. The next project civic seats (i know they are honda), a sunroof and my custom stero and way more to come.

LUV: 1980 Daily Driver
Name: Carl
Location: Phoenix,
AZ USA
Notes: I'm the original owner of this 4x4 truck, bought in July 1981 at Dick Wickstrom Chevrolet in Roselle Il. It's on it's 2nd engine & it is bone stock. Unfortunately (for me) AZ. is considering 80 mph open highway speed limit & for those of you with 4x4's with 4 speed & 4.10 gears this is about as fast as this truck could go.... |
