Automatic, A/C (converted to new environment friendly freon), 1.8 Litre, pass-thru rear window. Bad dash, burns/leaks oil, needs tune-up. 98% original. Never wrecked as far as I know.

LUV: 1980 Daily Driver
Name: Michael Swain
Location: Woodstock, GA USA
Forum Name: luv-er
Notes: POS, 1.8, 4-speed, 4-wheel discs, all stock except for "forced intake" (removed box from beside radiator!) and a weber carb. I dunno if I want to sell it or fix it. It has a "blown" head gasket.

LUV: 1979 4x4
Name: Toby
Location: Shreveport, LA USA
Forum Name: BUDDHA
Notes: 4x4 used everyday I love this truck dearly. I just needed a few parts for it. It’s yellow with public works on both doors. Big CB antenna on top that I put on. This truck is far the best there is. The whole luv truck line that is.

LUV: 1974 Street/Strip
Name: Rocket Reece Reeves
Location: Weatherford, TX USA
Forum Name: Luv Rocket
Notes: I've had this truck for 20 yrs! Me and my dad built it in 1984 and have tried to sell it 4 times and I still have it and i guess will pass it on to the kids. The truck 1st had a 305 then I decided to go with the big engine. It has a stroked 400 that makes it a 410, 6.5 rods 12.5 Keith black pistons, 670 mechanical roller cam. 2 Holley 600 carbs with a mallory unilite dist. The front wheels are Cragar 15x3 and the rear is 15x10. 3800 stall turbo 350, quarter stick and a S-10 mini spool 373 rear gear. The truck is not only fast, but has 4 12in woofers and a whole lot of tweets and mids.

LUV: 1980 Daily Driver
Name: Paul W. Robinett
Location: Wapakoneta, OH USA
Forum Name: Led Fether
Notes: My LUV is a 1980 Mikado with the original 1.8. I am planning on restoring it the best I can. I've never taken on a restoration project before, so this should to be full of headaches and sheer enjoyment(after it is complete). I traded a 1986 Merc Gr.Marquis even up for it. I think it was worth the trade, especially since it only had 80k miles on it.

LUV: 1982 Street
Name: David Cohea
Location: Springfield, TN USA
Forum Name: CoheaD
Notes: 1982 Chevy Luv is Blue long bed and 5 speed. The transmission is having some problems. However the motor is still humming. I understand that a 2.2 Diesel Isuzu engine's life is estimated to be over 16,000 hours. At 50mph that is over 800,000 miles.

LUV: 1980 Show Truck
Name: Shawn Zagar
Location: Greensburg, PA USA
Notes: 1980 Chevy Luv bought new by me with 26,000 original miles. Painted by nationally known airbrush artist Jim Kunze in 1983 and winner of many shows. The truck features a 5" body lift and a 3" suspension lift with 33" groundhawgs on 15x8 aluminum wheels. This 4x4 started out as a daily driver until it got repainted. It then became a show only truck. I am still working on some more mods as it is never truly finished. Any helpful tips on more mods are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Shawn

LUV: 1979 Street
Name: Jessica Newkirk
Location: Seattle, WA USA
Forum Name: JessMN
Notes: My truck is a 1979 luv stepside. As you can see, it's black, with a 350 under the hood. It has a 3.31 limited slip rear end and a custom driveline from Drive Lines Northwest. Once I got it, I customized the interior to get rid of the dated stock brown and tan. New door panels, painted the headliner, got seat covers, and put a stereo in. Future modifications include an engine swap, mustang II front suspension, new exhaust, and rims and tires, as well as a tonneau cover and whatever else I think of along the way. :)

LUV: 1978 Street/Strip
Name: Anthony
Location: Seaside, CA USA
Forum Name: Anthony
Notes: My LUV has had the original motor taken out and replaced with a Chevy 350 roller motor that packs 450hp. Connected to it I have a 3 speed 350 Turbo tranny & 12 bolt psi rear end. Currently it is awaiting a new paint job. After that I'll be cutting the frame from the cab back,& welding on a new custom frame, with a narrowed rear end.

LUV: 1978 Daily Driver
Name: Travis
Location: TX USA
Forum Name: bassist
Notes: i got it from a guy who hadn't drove it very often for five years, for $650. it belonged to a father-in-law of his who really liked it and took excellent care of it. its got a really straight body with one good sized dent and a little rust but overall really nice. the engine is also really strong for a stock motor, with only 88.000 miles. the interior was also redone at some point in time and its pretty nice, considering.

LUV: 1982 Daily Driver
Name: Melissa Kernodle
