Notes: The truck is a 1978 chevy luv. The motor is a 383ci stroker motor that makes 550-600 horse at tha crank, but dinos at a littla over 300 at the rear wheels. The truck is tubed with a Ford 8.8 rearend that has mosor axels and 4:56 gears. Now that it is four-linked and has 29x15x18 drag radiols it is a prostreet truck that is capuble of running 6.40's to 6.50's in the 1/8th mile. The whole truck was built in our shop at home from the motor to tha fuel cell.

Notes: I bought this 1980 LUV 4X4 for $350 at St. Vincents. It smokes bad but runs and the 4-wheel stuff works. It is a Mikado with front disc brakes. A little rusty & the interior is musty and a bit rough. Originally I was looking for a 2-wheel drive to do a V-8 conversion, but I kinda like this little truck. P.S. My wife doesn't know about this yet, so don't tell her.
