Notes: Ive had this truck for about thirty years . its had three different moter and trnny combos in it . the truck has allway got me where i needed to go , somrtimes without problems and sometimes ???? . my son bill and his friend kelly where going to put a new moter in her and then the project got away from them , I kinda cut the drivline tunnel out during one of my moter installes and then on one of the other moter installes i took out part of the fire wall . the boys put a smooth face fire wall and a new tunnel in her for me . they also put a 4.3 chevy vortect moter and a 700r4 in with 373 rear gear that i got out of a mpv california truck . The boys could not find a dash pad for my truck [ no really ] so kelly just cut the thing out and then bill and kelly cut and fit a 1967 chevelle dash in . the truck is not done yet but is coming along , should be done feb. 2012 . progress showen in project build under norms 75 luv build .

Notes: Back in the 80s my dad and grandpa were put falling trees for fire wood and they fell a tree right across the hood of the luv. The cut up the tree put the wood in the back and drove it home. Grandpa just gave me the truck yesterday and now begins the build.

Notes: 79 Chevy LUV 4x4, my first truck bought it for $500 at a yard sale and trailered it home soon to fix it up to use it at a daily driver/wheeler. Has a/c which is rare in luv's, and it came with new tires and wheels when I bought it so I basicly paid for the wheels and tires when I bought it. Swaped the motor on it becuase it was burning oil and put an engine out of another 79 luv with a Weber carb.
