Name: Orly
Location: Jackson, WY USA
Forum Name: luvergirl
Notes: My truck was given to me by the ranch that i worked at this summer. It wasn't running that great, so they just wanted to get rid of it. We put a new battery and spark plugs in and now it runs like a charm! Even made it all the way over the Continental Divide.

LUV: 1979 4x4
Name: Bob Ryan
Location: Fort Atkinson, WI USA
Forum Name: Whiz Kid
Notes: Bought the truck in Oct.1986.I put a 3 inch body lift and a 2 inch suspension lift on it.I ran 31 by 11.5 inch tires on 15 by 8 wheels. In Sept.1989 I decided to tear the whole truck down and completely re-do it.Unfortunetly that was as far as I got.It sat that way in my garage until Spring of 2003.I found a 1984 Pontiac T1000 2-door in mint condition and decided to put the body on the LUV frame.I had to shorten the frame to match the wheelbase of the body.I currently have the body mounted on the frame.I also had to modify the Pontiac steering column to mate with the LUV steering box.I am sticking with all the LUVs original engine and running gear.I hope to have it finally back on the road by the end of summer 2005.
