Notes: My grandfather had the truck in a pasture, until Jan. 2009 when my aunt came down. He put a new altinator, battery, fuel line, and tires on and it started up. I bought it from him for $350 and have invested about $100 in it so far. Great little truck, just wish it had better features. |

Notes: I inherited my pickup from my grandpa. It was stored away for quite a while and it's not in all that bad of shape. The original motor has an 8 in. crack along the base so I'm deciding to put a 350 in it. |

And now i drive 50 miles a day with no problems. i love thid truck. im taking it to a car show next month. just needs alittle more cleaning and fixing some more of the body. |

Notes: I took my wife out on our first date 21 years ago in this truck. I got rid of the truck after i blowed the motor up in it in 1987. I found the truck again in 2008 and gave $150.00 for it. I put the truck back together with a 350 small block and a 400 turbo transmission with a 1977 Pontiac Firebird rearend under it. |

Notes: Paid $300 in '08. Had rebuilt engine, but they put timing chain tensioner in backward and broke the chain. 4x4, manual shift. Replaced timing chain, alternator, fuel pump, fuel tank & lines, battery, 16" wheels, oil pressure switch, brake rotors, Seat, headliner, floorboard, repair rusted areas, paint. Got $2400 in it. Took 3 loads of 1 ton+ for my driveway. Runs like a scalded cat! Always wanted 1. Suits me fine for run to Lowe's or whereever for bulky loads. Bothers my bad knees but I'll run it as long as I am able. |

Notes: My luv is a 1982 diesel. It is beat up, but has low miles. It runs good. One of my best friends had it, and i drove it all the time when he had it. He traded it for a set of axles for his Ranger, then my dad bought it from that guy. We plan to paint it flat black and add chrome stacks in the near future. |
