Notes: i have 1972 chevy luv that my pops past down to me about 3yrs ago. this 72 has been in my family since 1989, this truck brouth me and my Family from Mexico when i was 2 yrs old. In 1990 my dad drop in a 1986 s10 2.5 liter 4.clynder with a 4 speed stick shift, along with the s10 diffencial. very nice hook up .he also made a custom stepside bed for it.just recently i have painted a Royal Blue Poly paint and upgraded the tranny with a 5 speed.1972 to me was the best year for luvs

Notes: Just an update to Glen Van. It's been 30 years that I've owned my LUV and with nearly 312K miles on it I had to shut it down. The collector vehicle plates don't expire for another couple of years, which gives me plenty of time to determine what to do with it and the large pile of replacement parts. It still runs, handles, and looks very good, but our 6 months of winter and my snow covered feet finally severely rusted through the floorboard. |
