I have a Mighty Mike and another Chev 4x4 I would like to find homes for or I'll sell parts fair cheap. Its just stuff not gold. Mighty Mike is real rough. The chev 4x4 has fair body but zero compression.

Notes: My Great GrandFather originally bought a 1980 LUV Truck USED 7-16-83 with 36170 miles on it 4sd. Baby Blue in color. He used it as a his fishing truck and truck to drive around his farm, as far as that the truck stayed in a enclosed shop out the weather. When he passed away in 2007 I asked my Grandmother for the truck and she gave it to me as long as I promised not to Sell it, Truck had 44640 origanal miles on it. Paint was a chalky but after the truck was buffed out it looked like it roled off the Show Room. Bias-ply tires where dry rotted so I bought a set of aftermarket wheel and tires. I also had a sprayed in bedliner installed to cover up the scrath's on the bed. I daily drive the truck to work when I dont drive my Duramax Diesel. The truck runs great and is still all original with only 46650K miles on it today 3/2011. Peoples draws drop when they ask if thats the orignal paint cause I how good of the LUV truck is in. Very Proud to own this LiL Truck. |

Notes: '79 Mikado, with Mikado parts truck. I got them from a liar who said it was a "running" 4x4. It starts, but even with the new carb kit, ignition set, wires etc, it doesn't run well. Going with a weber. Have a new aluminum civic radiator to keep it cool, but haven't fabricated the mounts yet. Front left hub just failed. Any suggestions where i can get a set? (been looking online). |

Notes: I LOOKED FOR A FEW YEARS TO FIND A DECENT 4WD LUV. BOUGHT IT ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO FOR 200 BUCKS. THE TIMING CHAIN WAS BROKE AND IT WAS TORN HALF WAY DOWN. REBUILT THE TOP END, PUT IN A CARPET KIT, REMOVED THE TRASHED SEAT INSTALLED A BENCH AND A CONER, TINTED THE WINDOWS, DYED THE DOOR PANELS, PHINO LINED THE BED, TORSION LIFT ANS LONGER SHACKLES IN THE BACK, INSTALLED 15 INCH WHEELS AND SOME 225/75/15S. PAINTED THE BTTOM BLACK AND BLACKED OUT THE EMBLEMS. NOW I JUST DRIVE IT. I LUV WHEN PEOPLE COME UP AND ASK ABOUT IT. |

I've put a smallblock 350 with a turbo400 in it. I shaved the marker lights and emblems and molded in the tailgate and smoothed it. I like the L88 hood the best.
It is one of a kind where I live. I put all new glass and interior in. Has a 10 bolt s10 rearend. I'ts an awesome daily driver and turns heads at the car shows.
It is 1966 impala gold with dark purple and lime green pinstriping. It turned out awesome.
I did all the motor and drivetrain myself and had a lot of help with the paint and interior.
Sure beats the one I drove in high school |
