Notes: I have a Chevy LUV (Smurf-Blue Colored) with a custom step up. It was all loved up by some Hispanic mechanic guy that I met on Craigslist. I love everything about this truck. I've had this truck for a month as of September 22nd. I've noticed that this truck had a lot of work and money dropped into it. I am currently trying to get it ready for a long journey across the West coast. I believe that this truck can make the trip if I learn all about it and fine tune it to my standards. I have to say, this truck gave me an awesome feeling when I drove it home from SeaTac, WA. The feeling was no different than when I got on my first motorcycle at age 16... It was a 1979 Suzuki 1000cc to be exact. Anyhow, the motorcycle had so much boost that it blew my helmet off on the first run... and I didn't have any eyewear so I had tears coming down my cheeks from the rapid wind trying to throw me off the seat. It was EPIC! Well, the truck got my eyes all watery eyed too, but it was only because I had the windows rolled down and the new paint off the rebuilt engine emitted some strong fumes. The truck only needs a little bit of work. I'm beginning to learn the flaws, but I am not worried. This classic is so worth the time and money. Buying it is such an investment through my eyes, and I feel like it's a big step towards truly becoming a man. I am definitely keeping it 'til the very end. If anyone in the area has a LUV in their heart, hit me up so we can cruise the streets of Washington. I also do a lot of mountain biking, and wilderness adventures too, or we can work on our trucks and have a few brews. 909 553 3613

LUV: 1980 Daily Driver
Name: Kyle
Location: Warren, OR USA
Forum Name: goodluv
Notes: Since I was born, my grandpa would take me for drives around our property in his 1980 chevy luv sport. I used to sit on his lap and steer as we would do circles around fields or old country roads. I called it the "ka ka" pickup because of the noise of the valve tick. When he passed away a few years back, my grandma went into his room and came out with the keys to his luv. She handed them to me and said "have fun". I have been "having fun" with this luv now for 2 years and am proud to call it my first truck.

LUV: 1976 Daily Driver
Name: Chris hurd
Location: Rapid City, SD USA
Forum Name: Crhurd
Notes: Learned to drive on my grandfathers 1976 LUV and since I was young I always wanted one. Went to a customers house one day and saw it in her driveway and $300 later it was mine. Currently just grinding the russt spots down and spray painting the whole thing with aflat black rust inhibitor. Plan on fully restoring it later when I have a garage to work on and keep it in. Any suggestions on where to find parts or advice? Crhurd@live.com
