LUV: 1975 Daily Driver
Name: Beau Chandler Lewis
Location: Carthage, MO USA
Forum Name: N/A
Notes: Just bought this truck yesterday with all original parts still running and driving but its been sitting for years yet it still hits 75 mph on the highway. 4 speed 4 cylinder and one hell of a truck. I will post pics soon and plan to continue posting pics till its fully restored. I love the style of this truck and the power for a 4 cylinder is unbelievable. If anyone wants to point me toward some good parts i would be more than happy to listen. Power to the LUV

Notes: I lost trak on the millage on my truck. I have so much bondo and fiberglass holding it together. I even use hysol for the major glueing of metat to metal, thats airplane glue. I think Ive replaced everything in my truck except the trans, I can put up with the noises, the engine in it has about 200000 miles on it leaks a little oil but seems to run strong well for 85 horse. I work with old vintage hyroplanes so I can get ahold of scrap firerglass and hysol. I just keeps running so I cant part with it . Ive painted it several times, house paint and a roller.

Name: Brian Tschabold
Location: Buckley, WA USA
Forum Name: GolfManiac2
Notes: Origional owner, has about 150k miles. Cracked head so I put a used one on. I must have gotten the timing chain off for it ran realy ruff. Put it away for another time to fix but never got to it. It sat outside and rusted away. Got it under cover a couple of years ago. Keeping it to use as a parts luv in the event I find a good used 76 Tan Luv.

LUV: 1976 Daily Driver
Name: A Raymond
Location: San ramon, CA USA
Forum Name: Raymond
Notes: I bought my truck for 500$! it wasn't running because the previous owner didn't tighten in anything to spec when he replaced the head gasket. So we fixed that so it is no longer an issue, and I haven't had a problem with it since!

LUV: 1980 4x4
Name: Jim Scully
Location: Pottsville, AR USA
Forum Name: Jims_80_4x4
Notes: This truck was originally purchased by me back in 1998 as a tooling toy. My 1st son and I used to wheel it on the trails on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state. I sold it to my brother but got it back from him in 99-2000. Wound up selling it again and it went through 3 or 4 different owners before I finally got it back again. Drivetrain is stock other than a 3" body, a set of shackles and the torsion bars tweaked all the way up. I plan on trying to stack frames, maybe keep the 3" body, do a solid axle swap with a 4.3l. Not sure of a tranny combo yet but as I do more research, I'll figure it out.

LUV: 1977 Daily Driver
Name: Don Haywood
Location: Cave Creek, AZ USA
Forum Name: Don Haywood
Notes: I have a '77 stocker that I rebuilt the engine 2 summers ago. It's a great work truck and I LUV it. I also have a 74 LUV with a '77 Toyota 20R and a 5 speed that currently has a bad rod. I'm hoping to fix it up though. The 20-R slipped in the LUV real easily if anyone wants to do it too. The '74 also has front disc brakes that I did back in the late '80's.
