LUV: 1980 Show Truck
Name: Bryan
Location: Perth, WA Australia
Forum Name: Chevy KB
Notes: I am rapidily doing up my 1980 Chevy L.U.V known as an Isuzu KB in Australia. I brought the ute when i was 16 and have had it since july 03 so on new years day 2004 i decided that it was time to clean it up and sell it. I began preparing to respray it fixing up rust and getting it ready for the respray after hearing that i should put a CAM in it as it is only the standard 1600 motor i decided that i might as well keep it and turn it into a show ute as i am only 17 and studying at a school of fine furniture i have decided to put a jarrah tray on it in the next school holidays and make do with the aluminium tray that is on it a present not to long after that i hope to put a 253 (4.2 litre) V8 in it and hopefully supercharge it. I have completly resprayed the vinyl and completely carpeted the floor. I am glad that i have found this website as i have taken in a few ideas on graphics to put on my ute. I am going to rip off the isuzu badge becuase they degrade the cars potentional and replace them with jarrah chevrolet badges. i hope to get some pics up so that you can see what i have done.

LUV: 1982 Street
Name: Colin Zimmerman
Location: Winnipeg, Canada
Forum Name: KOOL
Notes: My truck is still a project that is underway, although i've been working on it for 6 years off and on as finances and time allow. But I truly love my series 12 short box,as ive spent considerable time on it and have yet to even drive it !!!!! except of course the day i brought her home! the best thing about owning a 82 luv ,is that i've never yet seen another one in my city.they are quite rare up here in canada.I happened to stumble on her while on a drive out just north of the can /u.s border. the best part is i had been looking at s-10s and such but i wanted something a little different ,so i looked at many makes of trucks until as fate would step in and present me with the perfect answer to a different truck A 82 CHEVY LUV!i have since torn her apart completely to do a v 8 swap , all body and paint , interior, and lowered suspension. i cant wait until my luv makes her debut, because only a couple of close buddies have seen her so far! I think the luv will definitely turn some heads around here!!!!! i will try to send some pics to you guys soon (i dont have a scanner yet) THE LONE CANADIAN LUV OWNER? ,COLIN ZIMMERMAN

LUV: 1980 Street/Strip
Name: Neil Serfas
Location: Kindersley, Canada
Forum Name: smokinluv
Notes: My LUV truck is still and always undergoing modifcations and work. It has a 283 small block chevy, with a Turbo 350 transmission. The 283 is basically stock with exceptions of HEi distibutor, 4 barrel carb with lowrise intake. Exhaust is going to be 2.5" dual with glasspacks. Right now it has the stock rear end but and upgrade to a 9" or a chevy 12 bolt is in the future. Body is rough, but a donor LUV might change that in the future as well.

LUV: 1981 4x4
Name: Alex Rickard
Location: Melbourne, Australia
Forum Name: Viper
Notes: My Chevy luv is in fairly good nic for how old it is, Its a 4x4 with a tray, Its a mixture of holden and isuzu, The diesel isuzu motor its gutless, ive only got in up to 100km/h once and i thought it was going to rattle apart. I was wondering if anyone had a mechanics manual or something to help me fix it, (instead of just having to guess), Please if you have anything e-mail it to me, thanks.
